Winger's strike one of four nominations

Kyle Edwards' strike against Cambridge United last month has been nominated for the Sky Bet League One Goal of the Month for October.

The winger's goal, which was his first for Town, came after he cut in from the right side before curling the ball into the far top corner from distance.

Kieran McKenna's men won 3-0 against the U's that night, with Kyle notching a brace and Tyreece John-Jules also on target.

The four nominees for the award are below:

  • Kyle Edwards - IPSWICH TOWN vs Cambridge United
  • Barry Bannan - SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY vs Cheltenham Town
  • Aaron Collins - BRISTOL ROVERS vs Plymouth Argyle
  • Bali Mumba - PLYMOUTH ARGYLE vs Exeter City

Fans are invited to vote for their favourite goal on EFL.com before 5pm on Monday, 21 November.

The supporters' votes will be combined with the choices from a panel to determine the winners.

The judging panel comprises Sky Sports EFL experts Don Goodman & David Prutton.
