The Club is delighted to confirm the loan signing of striker Kieffer Moore from AFC Bournemouth.
The forward moves to Portman Road on a deal until the end of the season, becoming the Blues’ fourth signing of the January transfer window.
Kieffer returns to Portman Road following a spell with Town between 2017 and 2018, following which he has been a regular scorer at Championship level, has played and scored in the Premier League and has won 39 international caps for Wales.
The 31-year-old will wear the number 24 shirt during his time at Town and could make his first appearance at Preston North End on Saturday.
"It’s great to finally get it over the line because it’s been a long time coming during the window,” Kieffer told TownTV.
“I remember my first spell here and I’ve gone away and worked very hard on myself during that time, so I’m delighted to be back and can’t wait to get going.
“I was really excited when I spoke to everyone here and now I just want to meet the group, get out on the pitch and contribute.”

Manager Kieran McKenna said: “We are delighted to have signed a striker with strong Championship pedigree, as well as experience in the Premier League and at international level,” Manager Kieran McKenna said.
“Kieffer will bring some very important technical and physical attributes to the squad. We feel his professionalism and mentality will be an addition to the culture we already have within the group.”
Town CEO Mark Ashton said: "We’re delighted to have completed a move for a player who was always our number one target.
“It’s been a real team effort from a wide range of people at the Football Club, including Luke Werhun, Gary Probert and the recruitment team, while Kieran McKenna and his coaching staff have all played their parts.
“We’re delighted to have got it across the line during a challenging window, with not a lot of movement across the leagues, and bring a current Premier League striker to the Club.”

Kieffer began his career in non-league, spending time in the Torquay youth system before playing senior football for Truro City, Dorchester, Yeovil, Norwegian club Viking Stavanger and then Forest Green Rovers in the National League in 2016.
From there, he moved to Town in January 2017, featuring 11 times before moving to Rotherham on loan and then departing permanently for Championship side Barnsley in 2018.
He remained in the second tier with Wigan and then Cardiff, before then scoring four vital goals to help Bournemouth win promotion to the top-flight at the end of the 2021/22 campaign.
The striker, who scored on his first Premier League appearance against Aston Villa in August 2022, made his Wales debut in October 2019 and has scored 12 goals in 39 appearances, helping The Dragons qualify for EURO 2020 and the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar before being called up for both tournaments.
