Town U21 began their Premier League Cup campaign with a 2-2 draw against Cardiff City on Friday night. 

The young Blues fought from 2-0 down to earn a draw at Needham Market’s Bloomfields Stadium, with goals coming from Tom Taylor and Steven Turner.

John McGreal’s side will also face Watford and Everton in the remaining Premier League Cup group stage games.

Town U21 are next in league action on Tuesday with a trip to Barnsley.
