Young centre-half Elkan made his senior debut for Town against Gillingham in the EFL Trophy in October 2020, having come through the club’s academy. 

He spent the rest of that season on loan with King’s Lynn Town, before returning to Portman Road for the duration of the 2021/22 campaign and ultimately starting two league games at the end of the campaign under manager Kieran McKenna. 

He split the 2022/23 season between loan spells with Gillingham and Cheltenham Town. 

Elkan is a full Indonesian international, making his debut for his country in November 2021 in Afghanistan and scoring his first goal later that year, heading home against Malaysia.
