Bio
Town unveiled the signing of Chiedozie Ogbene from Luton Town on a four-year deal for an undisclosed fee in August 2024.
Chiedozie represented Cork City and Limerick during his youth career before moving to Brentford in 2018. After a loan spell at Exeter City he then made the switch to Rotherham in 2019.
He featured more than 130 times during his four-year spell with the Millers, signing for Luton in 2023 where he made 30 Premier League appearances last campaign.
Chiedozie found the back of the net four times in the Premier League during the 2023/24 season and registered the second fastest top speed of any player in the top flight, behind only Tottenham Hotspur’s Micky van de Ven.
He has also earned more than 20 caps for his national side, the Republic of Ireland.
