Bio

The attacker signed from Everton for an undisclosed fee in January of 2023 and made a quick impact as he helped fire Town to promotion.

His eight goals in only 19 League One games proved vital, with his strikes against Sheffield Wednesday, Port Vale and Barnsley proving especially important during Town’s charge to promotion.

He also netted the fourth goal of the game as the Blues secured promotion by beating Exeter City 6-0 at Portman Road.

Nathan was then part of the Town side that secured promotion back into the Premier League a year later where he made five assists and struck 13 times, including one in the East Anglian Derby at Portman Road in December 2023.

Nathan was on loan with Wigan Athletic during the first half of 2022/23 before returning to Everton and subsequently joining Ipswich, having also spent fruitful temporary spells at Sunderland (2021/22) and Burton Albion (2019/20).

Born in Bangor, Nathan started his youth career at Wrexham before joining Everton in 2008, aged 10. He turned professional for The Toffees in 2017 and provided an assist on his first-team debut, a 3-0 win away to Apollon Limassol in the Europa League.

His Premier League debut came away to Brighton & Hove Albion in April 2021.

He made his full international debut during his time at Town, coming off the bench to score a dramatic equaliser against Croatia in Split in March 2023.
